“I buy clothes but don't use them."

A recent survey found that the average closet has 26 items in it that are never worn.  And 65% of respondents said they have items with tags still on them.  Source

Why does this happen?  We buy something we aspire to wear, but then we reach for the same handful of pieces when we ACTUALLY get dressed.

How do you break the cycle?  The first step is understanding YOURSELF- your style personality, shape, colors, lifestyle- and what is realistic for you.  Our Style Awakening can help!

THEN you have to STYLE the pieces you have!  Follow the simple formula below to get more use out of those unworn items…

Your formula can come from Pinterest, your style coach, a mannequin, or someone in the street!

For that 1 outfit formula, purchase the piece(s) that will complete THAT outfit.  It could be a shoe!

Most important step!  You HAVE to wear the completed outfit OUT of the house in order to see how it FEELS.  Are you comfortable or fidgeting?  Do you feel too fancy?  Too casual?  Confident or awkward?  Text a pic to Jessica through Style Club to get styling tips!

After wearing it out, you will LEARN what works for you.  Then take the liberty to “riff” off the formula into an adjacent look, using more of your closet!  Investing in 1 pair of boots to “complete” a single look allowed me to use a lot of other pieces from my closet!

Make your wardrobe match you.

With love,

Sai
